Missing Hard Drive

Can someone help me???? I have an additional internal hard drive that I can no longer access. I only have one user and I think it has something to do with permissions, but can I reset that? It used to be read&write, but now it is like it is invisible???? What can I do?

Does Disk Utility see the drive? Something needs repairing or is broken.

No, it sure does not! I know that it happened when I was being a dummy and messing with the read&write access. If I do a search for items in that hard drive, they are grayed out

If it doesn't show up in Disk Utility, doesn't that mean that the drive is dead?

Possibly, it could mean that the port on the motherboard is faulty.
