Missing icons

I have loaded several apps (actually quite a few) in a 32GB 4s, and I have found that some of the icons are not visible. I can get to the apps by doing a search, but I can not see an icon.

How can I restore the icons? Or alternatively, how can I delete the apps, so that I can reinstall them, and presumably they will have their respective icon reappear?
