hey, i have a mac 10.4.11 laptop and recently i tried opening a .pkg file, the file is neither corrupt, incomplete, or damaged. i read that .pkg files are opened with apple installer and then i looked for this application both in Applications/Utilities... and in System/Library/CoreServices... and also searched in Finder and cannot find my Installer application on my laptop. I never deleted it and do not even know if i ever had it to begin with. How can I get Installer for my computer without reinstalling my whole computer????
