Since the 10.9.2 update I have had problems with the iSight in my Apple Cinema Display 27". It is the A1316, i.e. the non-thunderbolt version.

The iSight is simply not working. It isn't listed in the System Report under Camera, but funny enough it is listed under USB, as Display iSight.

I pulled the power, I changed USB plug, and I checked everything I know to check.

Anyone?

Try opening Terminal and typing sudo touch System/Library/Extensions

Then shutdown your MacBook and reboot it. Then open Disk Utility and repair permissions.
 
Unfortunately that didn't do it for me. I see that has worked for others, bit alas...
