Missing iTunes data

A few years back when I had a PC, I made a large number of CD compilations of CDs, albums and singles I had in my record collection. I have these CDs but have lost all the albums and singles.
Is there any way I can get back the artist and song title? They show up on the desktop as Audio CD and the songs come in as Track 1, 2 etc.
Given I must have nearly 100 of these CD compilations, hand entry is going to take some time.
Any leads to software that could help would be great.

iTunes should connect to the Gracenote database and put all the names in for you.

I wish it was that simple. This seems to work fairly well with a purchased CD but not for those you have put together yourself.
