A friend of mine has a mac mini with an SSD and a HDD I was under the impression that the iTunes folder and all the standard subfolders were on the SSD while the music is on the HDD and manually dragged into iTunes.
Today I was told that apparently all her voice memos have vanished, I looked in the iTunes folder on the SSD and there was no media folder in there. It was then that I noticed in the Advanced prefs that the Media folder was set to be in the HDD, but when I looked for it on the HDD there was no media folder there at all.
This is very puzzling because all the mobile apps are supposed to be in the media folder too in their own folder, they are on her ipod so they must be somewhere. I turned on the hidden folders to see if that helped which it didn't.
There are some voice memos that she hopes are not lost and I have run out of idea.
