Missing key wireless keyboard

Hello,

I'm completely new to mac. My OS is OSX 10.6.4.

I have a wireless keyboard.

I have used Linux a lot during the years and I am therefore used to use the console.

However, an essential key is missing. I don't know the name of the key. You use it in front of commands like "grep" and "less". You could call it a vertical slash.

Without this key, the shell is almost useless.

What to do?
