Missing option??

Any idea why the notification option to “show in CarPlay” would be missing from my 16PM running iOS 18.3 for messages., but shows on my 14 Plus running 18.3?
When I get text messages connected to CarPlay I don’t know about it.

Below is a pic of both phones. It was there at one point because I toggle it often.

Long-press on Messages' icon and ensure Require Face ID is disabled.

It’s disabled. I don’t require Face ID for any apps.
