Missing Piece?

Anyone recognise this piece as being from a MacBook Air, A1466 (circa 2016)?

I’m not sure it is, but my son is having issues with his MBA and a non-functional USB port, and this is at the bottom of his school bag.

Bluetooth and wifi both work.

It looks like an antenna, but doesn't look very Mac-like.

I don't think that it would have anything to do with USB, however.
