I recently bought a new 160GB Apple TV and synced it with my iTunes music (and video) library. I set it to sync automatically, copying everything across to the Apple TV.

All went well and it synced smoothly. However, now the item count at the bottom of the iTunes window is different in the music library page and the Apple TV music page in iTunes - there are a small number of missing songs that didn't get synced to the Apple TV. I can think of no reason for this - as far as I know, my iTunes library is in good order with no missing songs, and there is still a number of free GBs on the Apple TV.

Is there any way that I can find out which are the songs that didn't get synced across to the Apple TV - can I compare the two lists without having to go through them manually? Is there any specific reason that songs might not get synced, other than if they were missing from the hard drive? I didn't get any error messages while syncing.

Any help would be most appreciated...

Thanks
