I might be considering to purchase Missing Sync for the Palm. Mainly because Palm Desktop feels like an OS9 app and it greatly increases the login time on my machine. However, do current users find it worth while? I hate Syncing my photos into a folder which just end up getting dates in the 1960's (however using the bt send option on the Palm correctly dates the photos). Can I completely remove Palm Desktop and install Missing Sync or does MS need PD? How are the plugins for iPhoto and iTunes? Do the plugins modify the apps themselves and with every update do they have to be fixed?
Does Missing Sync feel glitchy? The only things I truly need is Photo, Address book, calendar, memos. The only 3rd party app I have that syncs is docs to go and since I haven't used that thing in over a year - I will most likely remove it (Docs to Go 6 is not compatible with the current version of MS). Anything to be aware of when using Missing Sync? Any criticisms?
Or does everyone have unbiased praise for the app
It is a lot of money though, just for the simple functionality that we expected to get from Palm in the first place.
