Goodah,
I've recently noticed that I'm missing text edit.
Tried reinstalling software bundle from the dvd, that came with my macbook, but still nothing(I don't thuinks that it's on the dvd).
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Is any other way to fix it?

Cheers(thanks) for the answers in advance...:)

There's a program, called Pacifist, that can help get at programs on the install disc. Sounds like it may be a good option here.

are you using Leopard? what version do you have?

heres TextEdit from my Mac with 10.5.7. download the .dmg file and mount it then drag TextEdit to your Applications folder. ill leave it up until you have responded.

sorry using Snow Leopard now so wont work if you have Leopard.

as angelwatt suggested download Pacifist and scan your first restore DVD then search for TextEdit and install.
