I am sorry if this has already been asked, I was unable to find it.

My wife upgraded her iPhone 12 to iOS 15. She has DND automatically enabled from 2000 to 0700. While DND is active, she doesn't receive any text messages on her iPhone and because the text messages are using her phone number they don't get forwarded to her iPad, which is still running iPadOS 14.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is this a config problem or an iOS 15 bug?

DND has nothing to do with the text itself, only notifications of texts so if the texts disappear it shouldn’t be because of DND. Could it be because of your wife cellular reception that night?

No. We did some troubleshooting that points to a problem with DND.

My brother-in-law sends my wife and I a text. With DND enabled she does not receive the text and I do on both of my devices. I am still running iOS 14 on both my iPhone 12 and my iPad. With DND disabled she receives texts from my brother-in-law. He is sending texts from an iPhone 12.

She is currently doing a "Erase All Content and Settings" to see if that helps.

Update:
My wife factory reset her iPhone. Still not receiving texts from my brother-in-law. She asked him to delete the old thread that was started when they were both on iOS 14 and to send her a new text. That worked, she is now receiving his texts.
