Well I suppose I made my previous thread in the wrong section or the title wasn't captivating enough.. thats probably why I got no responses.


I need to send some files over from my desktop,
but the windows sharing option is missing:

C'mon genius! You can do it!

Hey, is it "File Sharing" and then an option perhaps for Samba sharing instead of AFP?

(I don't actually know, just floating that)

Its pretty confusing how they just changed everything around.

I had FTP on but still couldn't connect. Never thought of trying samba because i didn't know what that was.

Haha! Nice. Glad it worked out for you. I haven't had the sincere pleasure of having to share with a windows computer in years.
