Somehow, the Windows menu item has suddenly gone missing from my 2011 MS Excel app. Any idea how to get it back? Running Yosemite 10.5.5 and Excel 14.6.6.

First helpful tip - never use Google to search for problems with MS products! Bing works much better in that regard...
To the point, Office 2011 apps were prone to disappearing menus from Day 1. We still run a few copies in the office. See the MS post in this thread, that'll likely cure your ills for now:
