I've had this problem with Sierra and now it continues with High Sierra. If anyone can help I'd be grateful
when I first boot my Mac it works as expected
- open several windows for an app, eg multiple Safari window
- press the Mission Control - App Windows key
- my Safari windows all appear in Mission Control
- hover the mouse over a different Safari window. That window gets the blue glow
- press the Mission Control - App Windows key again
- the windows zoom back to normal with the hovered/glowing window frontmost & focused
but after an hour or two it stops working like that, instead
- the original Safari window, not the one with the blue glow, is frontmost & focused
i.e. after an hour or two I can't swap window focus by just hovering the mouse
If I killall Dock it works properly again for a while.
I have tried trashing Dock preferences but it doesn't work. Upgrading to High Sierra didn't work. Rebooting doesn't work.
Any thoughts?
