I know I can change the background on my main display, but is there a way to change the background in Mission control (currently a bland grey background)? I don't see where to do it in preferences - or is it even possible?

Chances are it can be somewhere, but it's probably a tile not an actual background given how easily scalable it is to any display size.

Lion Designer

This application's basic functions are changing the Mission Control, Dashboard, Login Screen, and Launchpad backgrounds, as well as, changing the folder background and container icon in Launchpad. So you can change your Design in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion individually. Don't panic if you make a poor design change; you can reset it back to default with the click of a button.

I changed the background once. But the next time I got an OS X update it changed back to normal. It'll just get annoying after awhile, changing the backgrounds back every time.

It would be nice if, in a future update, they would make that a changable item in preferences, like desktop and screen saver images are now.
