Mission Control extremely choppy and lagging

Does anyone else's Expose is experiencing huge lag in Showing All windows ever since upgrading to 10.10?

It seems it's using an insane amount of VRAM which causes the lag.

I'm not sure if this is related but some users have reported that turning dashboard to "Off" in system preferences>mission control have helped.
