Back before El Capitan Mission Control Spaces overview would should the icon of the app in a space if it was full screen. Now all El Capitan shows is the thumbnail window. You have to mouse over a window for it to say what app the space actually contains.
If you work with lot of tools that use text, for example coding and different IDE and text tools, it is virtually impossible to tell the apps apart. I've actually started using blank desktops to segment spaces into groups so I can tell which section to target.
Its not like there isn't space for two icons in case the full screen space has two apps in it.
Is there anyway to return the app icons to spaces thumbnail preview in Mission Control ?
What a bizarre UI decision.
