Mittens, from the BOLT movie...

I am curious to know what type of breed is Mittens, from the new Disney movie Bolt, starring John Travolta. I understand that she has some American Wire hair in her, but American Wire Hair cat hairs are somewhat curly and not straight as that of Mittens and Ganja, my last cat. She was the same as Mittens except that both her hind legs looked as if she wore boots, her front paws looked like lil slippers, and her chin was the only white in the face. Well just wondering that is all Thanks!!!

I dunno, if you look at the way the head and neck are shaped, I would think Mittens would share more with a Bratz doll...

I'm not sure if someone still reads this thread, I just came across it

To me Mittens looks like an average stray cat, the typical black & white stray cats also called "tuxedo cats"

I have a rescue at home right now and she reminds me alot of Bolt's friend Mittens. She's kinda shy, but very funny ... just look at this photo of her

I had a cat that looked like her, and I think Mittens, is a American Shorthair. At least I think that's what they're called....

And CatRescuer, your old cat looks exactly like my old cat.... Never mind.

Mittens is a Tuxedo cat. All of this type of cat look like they're wearing a tux. Google Tuxedo cat's using the "images" category and pictures of Tuxedo cats will appear. They all look like Mittens. The films wikipedia and other movie information states Mittens as an "alley cat" which isn't an actual breed. Alley cats are what are referred to as homeless, like hanging out in alleys getting meals from dumpsters...etc...
