MiTube Stops Playing Video Even When in Background: Fix?

I would like to listen to the music from a mitube download while playing with other apps. However, even when in active backgrounding, the video stops. I suppose this is because it is a video and it assumes that I need to watch it. Is there any fix for this?

It does not work. It starts playing music from the ipod.

You have to force quit the iPod app first. Try using the Processes toggle in SBSettings to do this.

Still no luck. It opens the ipod app every time.

Have you tried backgrounding MiTube as it's playing a video? Then killing iPod and pressing the play toggle?

I don't know what else to try. I'm out of ideas.

if youtube works with that process i'd guess its because of a difference in the category of app as mitube is just a "regular" app store app. do you know if this process works with mxtube or yourtube?

It works with Yourtube as that is a plugin for the YouTube app. I don't know if it works with MxTube or not. My guess is no, only because it doesn't work with MiTube.
