I want to listen to two mp3 files at the same time (audio book and the sound of rain :D). Does anyone know if there's a software that can mix two mp3 files?

GarageBand should be able to do this. Click and drag the two MP3 files into a new GB project, and then hit play. You can also adjust the volume of the two tracks as well. It's included with every Mac, since it's part of iLife.
