Does anyone else think it’s strange that Apple seems to be focusing on water-resistance… the watch is supposedly good to 50 meters, and the phone now has IP67 protection…

yet starting with this year’s release, water damage is NOT covered by AC+? Seems like a mixed message from Apple…

any accidental damage should be covered by AC+, where did you see that they don't cover water damage?

I thought I read it somewhere... it might have been that the basic phone warranty doesn't cover water damage despite being "water resistant". I could be wrong, and hope I am.
