Hello,

I've got a AVCHD (Canon HF100) camcorder and was thinking of getting a second camcorder. It has to be a tape based camera as I am going to use using it for live streaming.

The question I have is, if import the footage into FCPX, will I be able to mix it with footage taken from my other camera? The camera I'm thinking of getting is the Sony HDR-HC7.

If yes, anything I should watch out for?

Thanks in advance

Should work with mixed formats. Just have to decide on the common format for final. If you had SD footage mixed with HD then you need to decide which direction with your Project settings.

Thanks for the quick reply!

They both record in HD, so I should be ok, right?
