Hi There,

I've been here for a while, but this is my first post.

I've got a Mk1 iBookSE 366Mhz G3 and wondered whether any of the technical experts here would know if it would be possible to update the processor in this model of iBook. No companies are doing an upgrade at the moment, but I like my little machine and still get 5 hrs battery life (no, you can't have my battery) and would like to think it would be upgradeable at some point to cope better with OSX which is a bit painful on it at the moment.

The recent Cube Powerlogix upgrade got me wondering whether it is even possible on the original iBook.

Any knowledge gratefully recieved:)

Thanks,
Tom.

hate to tell you mate but upgrading the processor isn't possible, but if its because of the speed of osx you want to upgrade dont worry just buy "jag-wire" (hehe 10.2) when its released (august 24) and you'll see a 2-3 times speed improvement, even on your machine.

hope this helps
