Mkv or mp4 to DVD

Hi all

I borrowed some DVDs from a friend and converted them to mkv and then mp4 to watch on my TV

Now my girl friend wants a copy but only a standard DVD player. Is there any way I can copy the mkv or mp4 files to a recordable DVD she can playin her DVD player?
