Hi,

I have a load of MKV files I created with mkvmerge. They all have multiple video tracks and one audio track. I want to be able to control and see/hear all tracks simultaneously. When I try to play them with VLC, all of the tracks open, and play correctly for a little while but then VLC inevitably crashes. No good.

I've installed Perian, which allows me to open and play the MKV files in QuickTime, but only a single video track, and no audio, appears. So, no good.

Can anyone suggest a solution, please? Either to get VLC or Perian to work reliably, or even an alternate way to view multiple audio/video tracks simultaneously? I have the original (single track audio and video) files so I don't have to use the MKV format if there is some other solution. But I have many (hundreds) of files to make, so manually editing tracks together isn't really an option: I went for MKV because I could create those from the command line.

Thanks in advance,
