Hey all, I bought a MacMini 2012 today and it came with iTunes 11, so I deleted it using Terminal. Then I installed iTnes 10.7 (I have the .dmg, as well as discs from Snow Leopard)

When I first lunched it, I got the error 42408 message. I know this will give me problems in the future, even tough music is playing fine. How do I fix that?

As I said, I have the iTunes 10.7 installer, and I dont mind completly starting from scratch and ripping all my CDs again. All I want is iTunes 10.7 to work flawlessly on Mountain Lion.

thanks for the help!

When you start iTunes again, does it still give that error? It might've been a one time error based on you not removing everything from iTunes 11 before installing the older iTunes.

For the best test, restart your computer and see if iTunes still gives the error. If it doesn't you will probably have no issues.
