ML on 2007 -white- iMac?

I've stumbled through a couple of long "unsupported" threads, without finding anything useful regarding older (white) Intel iMacs.

So I'll ask:
Has anyone had success in getting ML to run on the last of the White Intel iMacs? Specifically, the model that was discontinued when the first "aluminum" models were introduced (mid-2007)?

So far as I can tell, it can't be done.

These machines don't run the 64-bit kernel, and ML doesn't ship a 32-bit kernel anymore. (Which is why it can't load 32-bit video drivers.)
