I recently purchased an SSD and HDD to install into my 2011 iMac. I want the SSD to run apps and the HDD to store files. I only have a 120 Gb SSD and fear this will be too small to install win7 via bootcamp. I will primarily use Win7 for ripping blu-rays and need at least 30-35 GB for the OS and a buffer for blu ray discs.

Can I install Win7 via bootcamp on my HDD, while keeping the SSD for OS X apps only and all user files on the HDD as well?

Will I need to have the HDD installed with OS X as well to do this?

Given my second question, would I need to have 3 partitions on the HDD; one for OS X, one for Win7 and one for user files from the SDD?

Any help is much appreciated.
