ML Performance boost on MBP 2010 ??

Hi folks,

for those of you that are early buyers of Mountain Lion, - did you notice any performance boost because of your upgrade to ML ??

If so, how did you notice ??

I upgraded my parents 17" i7 2010 MBP to ML and it's running fine. Honestly don't notice a speed gain because it was never that slow to begin with and I don't use it much. But most speed gains are negligible unless you're having problems already. I see you already have an SSD so that makes it even harder to tell since it's so fast anyways.

The ML seems to have a significantly improved memory allocator (according to Geekbench results). Other then that, the UI feels snappier (but its a subjective ting of course). Most importantly, installing ML freed almost 5GB disk storage for me, yay!

P.S. I'm on a mid 2009 15" MBP.
