Anyone who tests this please report on it's enhancements. I'm afraid to try it until I hear about it, as a former version caused a few problems with other apps I use.

Thanks in advance!

It's a bit "clever" in that I installed 0.7, and when I started it up, it promptly asked if I would like to update to the latest version, 0.6.2. Naturally I said no, but it's now busy updating mlnet to a newer version.

So far it's working perfectly. I used to use the web GUI until a couple of weeks back when I switched to mlmac 0.6.2's GUI. (IMHO you shouldn't bother with installing the daemon on its own, just use mlmac, for it installs everything for you.) That one was working fine but sometime the GUI would lost its synchronization with the daemon. I haven't experienced that with 0.7 yet. I have to say that from 0.6.2 to 0.7 the improvement is very significant. At the same time, the daemon was updated to a new version (I have yet to see the difference in what it does).
But for me (so far), 0.7 is working perfectly.

Hmm i have yet to experience problems with Airport on my home network. My base station is not an Apple one, but my iBook 800 is definitely using an Apple airport card... Never had any problems with mlmac/mldonkey.

As for the downloads, it is a feature of the mlnet daemon, and I don't know what's new in the latest version. I'll investigate.

Fasttrack??

Even though I'm quite happy with mlmac I just noticed tonight that my home computer can't seem to be connecting to any fastrack server. Anyone else with the same problem??? (Maybe it's an issue with 10.2.8, cause I just installed it.)

If you want FastTrack go here:

http://gottsilla.net/software.php?site=poisoned

Though there should be a new version in the next few days if you were to wait.

mlmac is just fine with fastrack, even though i have yet to use poisoned. I guess it was just a temporary problem. My mlmac is now back online with fastrack. The good thing is you can do searches across different networks at the same time. I'm telling you, this mlmac is getting pretty good.

But thanks for the advice. I'll go check it out (if nothing else, I'm curious).

Indeed, this uses the 'gift' way of accessing FastTrack as mlMac uses eDonkey.

The Devolpers (gets a little angry) should be releasing the file any day now...

For now MutiNet (a spin off of Poisoned) has is better then the original.

What do you mean, mlmac uses edonkey to access FastTrack? I thought that mlnet (the daemon behind mlmac) was a client for edonkey AND fastrack, etc... and that they had just reverse-engineered the fastrack client. Hmm I am getting a bit confused here. Do you mind shedding some light on the matter?
