My wife has an iPhone 5 with IOS 7.0.4 installed. Since IOS 7 in general she started to notice a strange MMS problem. If she takes a picture and tries to share that picture, she'll go through all the steps and hit send. It will appear to work fine but if she goes into the messaging app, the message is not even there. It never sent or added to the messaging app. If she goes into the messaging app and attaches a photo from there and tries to send it, 9/10 it will say message failed. If she restarts her phone, normally the first MMS will send but subsequent messages will fail.
A little back story too. She had a TON of messages in messages app and several months ago, the messaging app had gotten really slow. I used Decipher Text Message and found one conversation thread that was well over 10k messages. She deleted it and everything seemed to be fine. Now months later, this is happening and seems to really have surfaced since IOS 7. I have verified again and the SMS.db is only 650 MB at this point.
Can the SMS.db becoming corrupt/problematic? Trying to avoid a factory reset but if I need to, so be it. Anyone else experience anything like this before?
