cant wait for it to hit the canadian app store

it's weird, but as soon as I got my iphone, I think ATT shut off MMS.

I took out my SIM and put it in an unlocked Nokia. I tried sending an MMS and it gave me an error.

Even if someone comes out with an MMS app, it seems ATT blocks it.

That is quite interesting and annoying.

all I know is rogers had better adopt this or I'm committing suicide via bombing run

I suspect this is just using a MMS gateway on the internet.
In Spain there are similar apps. Basically Movistar has a website (espaciopersonal.movistar.es) that lets you send and receive MMS.

In fact when you receive an MMS instead of the cryptic username and password text you get in the US with AT&T, you simply receive a txt letting you know that you received a multimedia message, and links you to the espaciopersonal website.

There you log in with your tel number and password (one-time off registration) and browse all message just like if it were a webmail service.

So this MMS app we have here is simply an iphone native application that hooks itself to the espaciopersonal web. When you compose a mms, it is simply delivered thru that web.

by default vodafone live! And others vf services only works on the carrier ip data network.

Although it's great that we can have MMS, that app is not that great. Basicly when we get a MMS we get a flash SMS informing us, and telling us to open the app.

Also we can't use the app if we're connected to Wi-Fi. Crappy Vodafone does that with all their apps.
