Ever since the 3.0 Beta, all of my MMS messages have included an empty bar at the top of the photo. When I send an MMS this bar isn’t used at all, only the normal MMS sending bar appears at the top of the messages app. Does anyone know what this bar is used for? Will Apple possibly enable this as a status bar when sending MMS messages? I posted a picture below.

It's the same as the text bubbles, it's just not as apparent on them because they don't have the dark background your picture messages do.

You're right, I never noticed them on that.... they should really make that look better.

On the other hand I think Apple should put a sending indicator directly on the bubble so if you have multiple MMS messages sending out you know when one is finished. MMS take's 20 seconds or so for the iphone to send one out. At least for now.
