MMS stopped working on iOS 6

Here's the situation, my sister has an AT&T plan from back in the day, and she has a voice and text plan only. She has _NO_ data tied to the account. I gave her my old iPhone 4 last year and it's been working fine for her on iOS 5.x.

She uses the data portion with Wi-Fi only at the moment so that doesn't bother her with not having a Data plan.

Just recently when I gave her my 4S with iOS 6 on it, she is no longer able to get MMS text and any group text that included non iMessage users fail to send to her. If everybody is on iMessage, then it works fine. These are the two case scenarios that fails to work. Unfortunately when I took back the iPhone 4, I updated it to iOS 6 as well so now we're stuck with this issue. Anybody have any ideas?

I have found a fix to this!!!!!! after updating my 3gs to ios 6, my imessage and mms were both not working. Tried for hours upon hours to fix it to no avail. UNTIL YESTERDAY!!!!

Now that they have the jailbreak for IOS6, you can fix the mms!!!!! You must Jailbreak the iphone. There are many videos and links on how to do this. and add source http://beta.leimobile.com/repo after doing this, go into it and add "EditAPN"....This will allow you to manually change your APN settings.

go to settings>general>cellular> You should now be able to scroll down and see "Cellular data network" tap this. And edit the settings as follows.

Scroll down to where it says MMS

APN: wap.cingular
Username: -
Password: -
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com/
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Max Message Size- 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL- http://www.apple.com/mms/usaprof.rdf

Tap Cellular in the left corner and YOU ARE DONE!!!! ENJOY!!!

Nope, the unlockitz doesn't load the required MMS settings

If your phone is unlocked, you can do a sim swap on a non-jailbroken phone and get the MMS settings into the phone... (how I am able to use my iPhone 5 on StraightTalk)

This requires having an alternate active sim (I use a T-Mobile sim) and IMEI unlock.
