In the iTunes folder in user>XXXX>music>itunes there is now a folder called mobile applications!!!

Can we theoretically send people apps and share them etc... like US apps sent to UK users???
 
The files are FairPlay encrypted so we don't know how sharing will work (if at all)

Given that each app has a "tell a friend link" and the sizes are so small I don't think its much of a problem to send a link to a friend and have them download on iTunes/iPhone
 
I tried renaming the .ipa file to .app and putting it on my jailbroken iPod touch but had no success in running it.

I'm sure the fairplay drm will be cracked at some point but I intend to pay for my applications like the upstanding citizen i should have been all my life.
