I have a T-Mobile USB modem dongle.

Like Vodafone and other providers images are compressed to speed up the surfing experience. I need hi quality images and am prepared for a slower surfing experience.

I want to use Safari, not FireFox, nor do I want to keep refreshing pages to get better quality images.

Any ideas?

If possible, set up a VPN and connect to the VPN server (i.e. your computer at home, on a good Internet connection) over Mobile Broadband. Then your mobile network can't interfere with your connection at all :)

Not a solution for everyone I know, but if it's available to you then it certainly improves the reliability and performance of the mobile broadband experience.
