Hi there,
I'm a canadian going on holiday in Florida and I'm going to need mobile data while I'm down there. I refuse to pay Telus's absurd data rates, so I'm thinking that I should get a mifi or other mobile hotspot and get a local pay-as-you go data plan.

Any suggestions? I'll probably buy an unlocked device before I leave, so I want to make sure it's compatible. What carrier has good coverage down there? Who has the best data prices?

Staying in Orlando... Probably planning a trip to the keys for a few days.

Cheers!

Family adventure.. her's not mine, so I plan to escape for a few days. None of my MacGeek colleges have any suggestions for me?

I know that AT&T will probably have the best setup for you. I believe that you can get 250 voice minutes, unlimited texting, and 1GB of data for about $25.

You can check att.com for yourself for more info if you want.
