There are quite a few threads of folks wrestling with which device is best for them. Although these type of discussions help build community, there can still be quite a bit of uncertainty when the discussion is over.
To help with this, I've created a sample google sheet worksheet to help quantify the differences between various devices and capabilities. (I actually created this for myself and thought it might be useful to others)
Link to google sheet
This is just a sample. It should be modified to reflect what is important to YOU.
Here's an explanation of the columns:
Level of Importance: this is a weighting for the particular item. 0=no importance, 1=low importance, 10=highest importance. You can change this to be any scale, 0-5 or 0-100.
Description: This is a brief description of the feature.
Devices (column C, D, E): This sheet is designed to compare 3 devices. It can be expanded to include more. If the device supports the feature then an "x" (lowercase x) should be placed in the cell.
What I provided is just an example, make a copy and edit it to your preferences. Delete features that are of no interest to you. Add and remove rows as appropriate.
If you use it, please post your highlights. I'm interested to hear from those who were surprised by what had the higher score for them given their priorities.
