Mobile Headset Recommendations

With Maryland's new hands-free law going into effect in a couple of months, I'm looking for recommendations for a wired headset to use while driving. I'm not a fan of bluetooth. I've tried using just one ear of Apples headphones, but the mic picks up too much background noise. Any one have positive recommendations for a good mobile headset?
