Is there a way to setup a mobile hotspot to always force it through a corporate VPN? I'm sure it varies device by device, but I've read a few manuals online and they support VPN access, but I can't tell without actually getting and configuring one if I can lock it to a VPN.

Work from home has been highlighting the fact that not everyone has great Internet access. One solution for some folks who don't have good wired service would be a mobile hotspot-- this also keeps a nice partition between corporate and personal infrastructure. The company can provide the hotspot and pay the cellular bill.

The trick is ensuring that it doesn't become a 4k Netflix bridge. It's just too expensive to support unlimited personal use on these things. If it's locked to the corporate VPN, then it's more explicit that this is meant for work purposes.

If anyone has good recommendations for mobile hotspots or data plans, I'm open to suggestions. If anyone is using one on a regular basis, how much data do you find yourself pulling and what's the pricing for the plan?
