Hi all.

I've moved up from a first-gen iPhone to an iPhone 3G. My main email account is a Gmail account but I also have a Mobile Me account with Apple.

In order to preserve battery life on the iPhone 3G, I want to turn off PUSH in the Fetch New Data setting. Thing is will my contacts and calendar still sync wirelessly with PUSH turned off?

On the first-gen iPhone I just used to leave PUSH on but on the 3G the battery life isn't quite as good.

Any ideas??

You need to have Push On to wireless sync Calendars and Contacts. But if you go to the advanced settings in Push you can choose to only push contacts and calendars.
