Mobile Me Mail not updating

I have a mobile me email account on my iphone. When I have mail open on m macbook I will read the email and then delete it but it wont delete on the phone I have to go in and manually check it on the phone before it goes away. It is like this for any action not just deleting. My mail is set to push. Any one else having the same issues.
