Mobile Me questions

I was reading up on mobile me and found it pretty neat but I only have an iMac. My work laptop doesn't have Office or MS Enterprise (lotus) and I don't have an iPhone (blackberry) I still want to take advantage of the push features. Is there a way to do this other than Mobile Me?

While the features of mobile me look really cool I'm wondering if there aren't freer or cheaper versions of the same things you can sorta piece-meal together. Does this sound right?

What would you be "pushing" to if you only have the one computer and no iphone??. I suppose you would still be able to make changes on the web and have them update your imac automatically but if that is all you are doing I would recommend using google calender/gmail

I guess it'd be the same as using yahoo (yahoo has a BB version which is good) mail for all units...
