Mobile phone contracts in Germany

Hi guys,

Does anybody know whether you are able to break mobile phone contracts in Germany if you move abroad, and whether or not this applies to all contracts (i.e. also iPhone)?

It is the only thing that has put me off getting one until now. Well, that, and the extortionate price! T-mobile are the biggest rip-off merchants out there.

I just turned down an unlocked 3G for 400€ to wait for the 3.0 in the summer, so am trying to make sure I made the right choice!
