I'm not entirely clear on what you're asking, but you should not be directed to the mobile site on an iPad unless you have specifically tapped the "Mobile Version" link at the bottom of the normal front page.
If you're getting the mobile version on an iPad, you can click the link at the bottom of that page to change your cookie preferences and you'll be automatically directed to the normal site from then on.
