Mobile-T & Pismo Airport Range

Has anyone used a Mobile-T connection at distances away from the hotspot? For example, I have a Starbucks 1 block away from my apartment and i'm curious to whether Airport could latch onto the signal from inside my place.

I can't really test this out yet, because my Airport card hasn't arrived yet...... but it seems like it would be perfect if I could use Wi-Fi in my home & whilst out-n-about, two birds with one stone (i mean bill).

probably not

I have that exact setup and in my experience the t mobile hotspots are limited outside of the store. I would guess that there's no way you could tap in from an entire block away.
