Mobile threads?

Why is it when a users posts a message to a thread with their mobile device the update email i receive is different? why do i care if i can access the thread through a mobile device just because they used one? what am i missing?

ex. "To access this thread via your mobile device select the 'blahblah' link located in your My Threads list.

it's kind of annoying that's its different than the other email updates

The main forums and mobile forums are handled by different software using a shared forum database. There are differences in their features and their messages. We've customized some of the features and messages of the main forum software but the mobile forum software is much less flexible so we can't get them to match as closely as we'd like.
