Currently I read macrumors.com/mobile on my Treo 700w and would also like to read a slimmed down mobile view of the forums. Is this already available? If so, how can I get to it? If not I think it would be a great feature to add.

The forums run on vBulletin, for a mobile version to happen vBulletin would need to implement it as a feature. AFAIK vBulletin doesn't have this....yet.

You can use the vB Archive feature (click it on the bottom right) and bookmark that on your pda....you just can't post, but it's great for reading!

Look for the mobile version thread I made not that long ago, there are some "mobile style" skins available for vB, so e, I think that's why vB doesn't integrate it, because...it's so easy to do with skins.

That looks to be nothing more than a style, as ITASOR suggested, which I'd never even though of

They're basically styles with....no style...
